BEIER Shrink tubing for arrow feathers
What an amazing idea! Instead of using a wrap that takes a long time to make or replace, you just simply use a piece of shrinking tube.
This way you can make a feather protection in a matter of seconds. The feathers are secured and the lower end of the fletching, which often is sharp and causes injury when shooting over the back of your hand, is covered, making it a lot safer.
Using it is super easy:
1. Cut off a piece of shrinking tube (approx. 1.2cm)
2. Put the cut piece of shrinking tube over the shaft until the tube covers the bottom of the feathers (approx. 0.3-0.4cm).
3. Now heat the tube up with a heatgun or with steam until it contracts and is secure on the arrow shaft.
1 meter is sufficient for approx. 80 arrows if you use 12mm of material per arrow.
